We are looking for a talented and experienced Marketing & PR Manager to nurture our strong industry network, increase brand awareness, and develop an enviable corporate image. As the Marketing & PR Manager Italy, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs, as well as local marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support with local marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget, and tactics
- Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print (main focus), broadcast, and online media
- Coordinate all public relations activities
- Manage media inquiries and interview requests
- Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
- Create content for press releases, byline articles, presentations, and printed collateral
- Help organise local industry events
- Monitor, analyse, and communicate marketing & PR results on a quarterly basis
- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an on-going basis
- Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
- Adhere to corporate policies and procedures, and align content to brand voice, tone, and style.
- Collaborate with the central European marketing department on local marketing initiatives/campaigns (e.g. inform the central team of any local topics that should be incorporated into social media planning, align on branding topics, request in-house design/branding support, etcetera)
Requirements
- Proven experience working in public relations
- Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at a local level
- Strong relationships with both local business and industry media outlets
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Fluent English, writing and speaking
- Event planning experience
- BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline
- Good time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
- Continuously monitors and develops expertise to stay abreast the latest marketing tools, tactics, and methods
- Self-starter, solution-oriented, and a team player — who shows clear organisational commitment
Our headquarters are in Hamburg but we also have physical offices in Berlin, Cologne, Gütersloh, Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki, Amsterdam, Milan, and Rome.
